Hello World

Well, it's been a few weeks since I set up my blog, and I somehow slipped up last week so my housemates now know I have it. Which means I'm getting the daily question - have you blogged yet? Nevermind that the whole reason I got to this point is because I failed to get one of the housemates (the live-in nurse/sister who has awesome perspectives on life and a most interesting style of sharing them) to write her own blog. But we have both agreed she can guest-blog here, so you're in for a treat.

So really I'm just testing this to make sure I'm technical enough to get words onto the webpage. And to finally have a different answer to the question I'll surely hear by the end of the night. And to avoid going to the grocery store.

But since I'm here, I can't possibly leave without announcing to the world (i.e. my mom and whoever else might read this), that my sister gave birth yesterday to a gorgeous baby named Matthew. Not the afore mentioned live-in nurse/sister, but the older one back in South Carolina. I'm a proud auntie and can't wait to meet him!
